The Mix - On Drystone Radio

Firmly grounded in 'old-skool' pirate radio style, The Mix brings a wide range of genres together in a rapid fire waterfall of interesting music and stories.With Myspace and other net links, Jools Slater brings all the info you need to follow up and delve into the world of all the bands he plays. From indie rock and experimental, through electronica and progressive pop to new world funk, soul and jazz.The presentation style and production values are very high, and the pace is fast and upbeat, which makes this show very listenable, and enjoyable. Yorkshire based bands are invited to send demos or links to their websites to be included in the show, which also gives full details of current releases and gig listings.
The show goes out live on Drystone Radio www.drystoneradio.co.uk every Saturday night at 6pm and repeats on Thursday at 9pm.
